Easy caramel pecan rolls
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- melted margarine - 1/4 c
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- biscuit mix - 4 c
- broken pecan nuts - 1 c
How to make easy caramel pecan rolls:
Mix pecans, 2/3 cup brown sugar, corn syrup and melted margarine in 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Spread to cover bottom of pan and set aside.Stir biscuit mix and milk to form soft dough; beat 20 strokes. Turn onto board dusted with biscuit mix to coat dough. Shape into ball and knead 10 times. Roll dough into rectangle about 9 x 15-inches. Spread with 2 tablespoons margarine.
Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over dough and roll up tightly along the 15-inch side, pinching the end to seal. Cut into 12 slices and arrange in pan. Bake at 425° about 30 minutes.
Turn upside down on serving plate as soon as they come out of oven. Let stand about 10 minutes before serving.
