Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- melted butter - 5 Tbsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- slightly beaten eggs - 2 item
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- butter 1/2 shortening and 1/2 butter - 1 c
How to make yeast rolls:
Soften yeast in water. Cut cutter into 3 cups flour; blend in eggs milk, sugar, salt and yeast. Gradually add remaining flour. Mix well after each addition. Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours. Divide in 4 parts; roll out to 10-inch circle. Brush with melted butter. Cut in pie shaped wedges. Start with wide edge and roll up. Place on greased baking sheet. Let rise until double.
