Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter - 1/2 c
- can sliced water chestnuts, drained - 1 oz
- can onion soup undiluted - 1 1/2
- can beef consomme undiluted - 1 1/2
How to make wild rice casserole:
Put butter and soups in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Place in 350° oven until butter melts. Add water chestnuts, rice and seasoning packet. Stir to mix and return to oven, uncovered, for 1 hour. Serves 6.Great with grilled steak, pork or chicken.
