Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- cake flour
- white chocolate - 1/4 lb
How to make white chocolate cake:
Melt chocolate; cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Add nuts and coconut.Pour into two 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350° until cake tests done, about 35 to 40 minutes. When cool, spread on your favorite icing. I use a 7 Minute Icing.
