Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • cake flour
  • white chocolate - 1/4 lb

How to make white chocolate cake:

Melt chocolate; cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Add nuts and coconut.

Pour into two 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350° until cake tests done, about 35 to 40 minutes. When cool, spread on your favorite icing. I use a 7 Minute Icing.
