Ingredients/Components
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- cumin - 1 tsp
- whole chicken breasts, cut into small cubes - 2 item
- can white kidney beans cannellini, drained - 1 oz
- can garbanzo beans, drained - 1 1/2
- can whole corn - 1 oz
- cans chopped green chilies - 2 oz
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- hot pepper sauce - 1 item
- parsley sprigs - 1 item
- shredded Monterey Jack cheese - 1/4 lb
How to make white chili:
Saute in oil the onion, garlic and cumin until tender. Into a 2 1/2-quart casserole, combine onion mixture with chicken, beans, corn, chilies and bouillon. Add 1 1/2 cups water. Cover. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350°. Stir in hot pepper sauce and top with cheese.Recipe categories: Main dish, Chili, Tex Mex.
