- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- oil - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- instant vanilla pudding - 1 pkg
- whiskey - 1 oz
- sugar
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
How to make whiskey cake:
Coating:3/4 c. sugar1/2 c. whiskey1 stick butter or margarine Mix cake mix, pudding, eggs and whiskey in electric mixer. Add oil and milk. Beat thoroughly. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350°.Mix coating ingredients until sugar is dissolved over low heat. Pour coating over cake while cake is still hot in pan. Cool in pan. Remove from pan and refrigerate, covered with plastic wrap, for 1 day before cutting. Rum, scotch, etc. can be substituted for whiskey.
