  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 4 c
  • cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • cooked, crumbled bacon - 1 item
  • toast triangles - 1 item

How to make welsh rarebit:

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add flour. Cook, stirring, until bubbly. Add next 5 ingredients; stir until thick. Add cheese. Stir until melted. Do not overcook. Pour over toast triangles. Sprinkle with paprika. Add bacon. Serve immediately.
