Wacky cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• butter - 6 Tbsp
• water - 1 c
• cocoa - 3 Tbsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• vinegar - 1 tsp

How to make wacky cake:

Measure dry ingredients into sifter. Melt 6 tablespoons of butter. Sift dry ingredients in 8-inch square pan, ungreased. Make 3 wells in dry ingredients. Pour melted butter into 1st well, vinegar into 2nd well and vanilla into 3rd well. Pour water over dry ingredients. Stir mixture with a fork until thoroughly mixed. Bake 30 to 40 minutes in 350° oven.
