Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/3 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 3/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vanilla ice cream - 1/2 gal
- butter
- water - 1/2 c
- chocolate wafer crumbs - 2 c
- green creme de menthe - 5 Tbsp
- Fudge Sauce - 1 item
- Press into 10-inch spring-form pan
How to make creme de menthe pie:
Combine wafers and butter. Press into 10-inch spring-form pan. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Soften ice cream and mix in creme de menthe until color is uniform. Fill wafer shell. Freeze.Fudge Sauce:3 oz. unsweetened chocolate1/2 c. water3/4 c. sugar1/4 tsp. salt4 1/2 Tbsp. butter3/4 tsp. vanilla Combine chocolate and water. Cook over low heat until melted. Add sugar and salt. Cook until sugar is melted and mix is thickened (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Cool. Drizzle over pie.
