Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- white wine - 1/2 c
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- bay leaves - 2 item
- ham, chopped - 1/4 c
- rabbits, dressed - 2 item
How to make stewed rabbit:
Cut up rabbit into serving size pieces. Salt and pepper each piece and brown with onion in oil. Add ham, some water (about 1 cup), wine, mushrooms, bay leaves and garlic. Season again with salt to taste and simmer for about 1 hour or until meat is tender.Recipe categories: Main dish, Stew, Rabbit.
