  • vegetable oil - 1 item
  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • onions, chopped - 2 item
  • white wine - 1/2 c
  • can mushrooms - 1 item
  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • ham, chopped - 1/4 c
  • rabbits, dressed - 2 item

How to make stewed rabbit:

Cut up rabbit into serving size pieces. Salt and pepper each piece and brown with onion in oil. Add ham, some water (about 1 cup), wine, mushrooms, bay leaves and garlic. Season again with salt to taste and simmer for about 1 hour or until meat is tender.
