Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • cooking oil - 1/2 c
  • hot water - 2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • American cheese, shredded - 1/2 c
  • round steak of venison - 1 item
  • several slices Mozzarella cheese - 1 item

How to make venison parmesan:

Tenderize the round steak by pounding with a meat cleaver. Saute the onion in oil. Add tomato paste, garlic, salt, pepper and water. Heat thoroughly. Mix cheese and flour. Dip steak in egg and then in flour-cheese mixture. Brown in a skillet. Place in a shallow baking dish and cover with the tomato mixture. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes at 350°. Remove cover and lay a slice of Mozzarella cheese on each piece of meat. Bake 3 minutes more. Serve over egg noodles.
