Ingredients/Components

  • venison meat, cut in strips - 5 lb
  • soy sauce - 1/3 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/3 c
  • Tender Quick salt for meat - 2 Tbsp
  • Kitchen Bouquet - 1 Tbsp
  • Accent - 2 tsp
  • meat tenderizer - 1 tsp
  • barbecue sauce hickory flavor - 1/3 c
  • salt iodized - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper black - 1/4 tsp
  • red pepper voluntary - 1/2 tsp
  • can stewed tomatoes or V-8 juice - 1 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1 tsp
  • onion powder - 1 tsp
  • liquid smoke - 1/3 c
  • white pepper - 1 tsp

How to make venison jerky:

Mix all together and put in covered bowl and refrigerate for 24 hours. Place strips of meat on oven racks and bake for 8 hours at 125° to 150°. Let cool and store in airtight container in refrigerator. Can be frozen.
