Venison jerky
Ingredients/Components
- venison meat, cut in strips - 5 lb
- soy sauce - 1/3 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/3 c
- Tender Quick salt for meat - 2 Tbsp
- Kitchen Bouquet - 1 Tbsp
- Accent - 2 tsp
- meat tenderizer - 1 tsp
- barbecue sauce hickory flavor - 1/3 c
- salt iodized - 1 Tbsp
- pepper black - 1/4 tsp
- red pepper voluntary - 1/2 tsp
- can stewed tomatoes or V-8 juice - 1 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- onion powder - 1 tsp
- liquid smoke - 1/3 c
- white pepper - 1 tsp
How to make venison jerky:
Mix all together and put in covered bowl and refrigerate for 24 hours. Place strips of meat on oven racks and bake for 8 hours at 125° to 150°. Let cool and store in airtight container in refrigerator. Can be frozen.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Wild game, Deer.
