Vegetable beef soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- 2 oz - 1 pt
- diced celery - 1 c
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- bay leaves - 2 item
- can 2 c - 1 lb
- diced potatoes - 1 c
- can whole kernel corn - 1 3/4
- beef shank - 3 lb
How to make vegetable beef soup:
Combine meat, tomato juice, onion, seasonings and 6 cups water in a soup kettle. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Cut meat from bones in large cubes. Strain broth and skim off excess fat. Add meat and vegetables. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Beef.
