Upside-down pizza
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- large eggs - 2 item
- salad oil - 1 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- Mozzarella cheese - 6 oz
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- jar spaghetti sauce - 1 oz
- mild Italian sausage - 1 lb
- can black olives, drained and sliced - 1 item
How to make upside-down pizza:
Crumble and brown sausage. Drain. Add onions and cook until transparent. Add spaghetti sauce, mushrooms (I use canned mushrooms at times) and olives. Heat and pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Evenly arrange Mozzarella cheese over this mixture (slices or shredded). Whirl or beat eggs, milk, flour, oil and salt until smooth. Pour over Mozzarella. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
