Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 8 c
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- chopped carrots - 1/4 c
- bay leaf - 1/2 item
- parsley - 1/4 c
- sherry - 2 Tbsp
- pearl barley - 3 Tbsp
- turkey carcass - 1 item
- celery with leaves - 1 c
How to make turkey soup:
Cook turkey carcass in water for 1 1/2 hours. Strain and refrigerate. Clear fat off cold broth. Return to heat and add the remaining ingredients. Cook 1/2 hour longer.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Poultry, Turkey.
