Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 8 c
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • chopped carrots - 1/4 c
  • bay leaf - 1/2 item
  • parsley - 1/4 c
  • sherry - 2 Tbsp
  • pearl barley - 3 Tbsp
  • turkey carcass - 1 item
  • celery with leaves - 1 c

How to make turkey soup:

Cook turkey carcass in water for 1 1/2 hours. Strain and refrigerate. Clear fat off cold broth. Return to heat and add the remaining ingredients. Cook 1/2 hour longer.
