Tortilla casserole
Ingredients/Components
- hamburger - 2 lb
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- garlic bud, mashed - 1 item
- comino - 1/2 tsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- can Pet milk - 1 (12
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes with chilies - 1 item
- corn tortillas - 1 doz
- grated cheese - 1 c
How to make tortilla casserole:
Brown meat, drain, add onions and cook for a few minutes. Add remaining ingredients except cheese and tortillas. Cook slowly for 10 minutes or less. Cut up tortillas into pieces and layer in a 9 x 13 x 3-inch casserole. On top of tortillas place half of the meat and repeat. Top with grated cheese and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes or until bubbly and cheese melts. Good served with green salad.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Casseroles.
