- milk - 1 beaten
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- olive oil - 3 Tbsp
- basil leaves - 1/2 tsp
- minced parsley - 1/4 c
- dry bread crumbs - 2/3 c
- large tomatoes - 4 item
- fresh basil or parsley optional - 1 item
How to make tomatoes country style:
Beat together with a mixer, garlic, parsley, salt and cream cheese; add basil. Cut tomatoes into 12 even slices, about 1/2 inch thick. Spread 6 slices with about 2 tablespoons of cream cheese mixture each. Top with remaining slices to make 6 sandwichesRecipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Tomato.
