Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- half and half - 1 pt
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- can chicken broth - 9 oz
- can diced tomatoes - 32 oz
- pinch of soda - 1 item
How to make tomato soup:
Mix tomatoes, broth, margarine, onion and sugar. Simmer 1/2 hour. Pour hot mixture SLOWLY into half and half and then pour slowly back into cooking pan and heat. Do not boil.Recipe categories: Fruit, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
