Ingredients/Components
- persimmon pulp - 2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- flour
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- hot water - 4 c
- margarine, melted - 1/3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
How to make persimmon pudding:
Cream the sugar and margarine. Add eggs and persimmon pulp. Mix well. Dissolve soda in hot water and add to mixture. Add flour, then milk. Add vanilla, pinch of salt and spices (if desired). Bake at 275° for 1 hour and 45 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.Add the milk and flour slowly and blend good in mixture.
