  • cold water - 1 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • can tomatoes - 1 item
  • bacon grease or other drippings for seasoning - 1 item

How to make tomato gravy:

Thickening:2 Tbsp. flour cold water Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook on medium heat until sauce begins to thicken. Reduce heat and simmer until desired thickness.

Thickening: Dissolve flour in cold water.

Serve with hot "homemade" biscuits.
