Tomato gravy
Ingredients/Components
- flour
- cold water - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- bacon grease or other drippings for seasoning - 1 item
How to make tomato gravy:
Thickening:2 Tbsp. flour cold water Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook on medium heat until sauce begins to thicken. Reduce heat and simmer until desired thickness.Thickening: Dissolve flour in cold water.
Serve with hot "homemade" biscuits.
