Tomato gravy
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- pinch of sugar - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- salt and pepper, to taste - 1 item
- can of tomatoes chopped - 1 oz
How to make tomato gravy:
Mix flour and oil together. Add onion, bell pepper, cook until tender (not browned). Add tomatoes and cook 20-30 minutes. Add water, pepper, sugar, salt. Simmer 30 minutes. Good over country steak or veal.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Vegetables, North american.
