Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
- whipped cream or ice cream optional - 1 item
- butter, melted and cooled to room temperature - 1 c
How to make toll house pie:
Preheat oven to 325°. In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Beat in flour, sugar and brown sugar until well blended. Blend in melted butter. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Recipe may be doubled. Bake two pies and freeze one for later use.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
