  • butter, softened - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • egg yolk - 1 item
  • drops maple flavoring - 3 item

How to make toffee bars:

Cream the butter and sugar. Add the flavorings and egg yolk. Add the flour by hand. The hardest part, spread 1/4-inch thick on a large cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 350° or until lightly browned.
