Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • egg yolk - 1 item
  • 6 oz - 1 pkg
  • drops maple flavoring - 3 item

How to make toffee bars:

Cream the butter with the brown sugar. Add the egg yolk and mix well. Add the flour, vanilla and maple flavoring. Spread in a greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Quickly spread chocolate bits on top while hot. Sprinkle with nuts or nuts, cinnamon and sugar.
