Toffee bars

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• butter - 1 c
• egg yolk - 1 item
• regular size Hershey bars - 6 item

How to make toffee bars:

Cream butter, sugar and egg yolk. Add vanilla. Sift flour; add and mix well. Bake in cookie pan (do not grease) for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°. While still hot, top with 6 regular size Hershey bars. When melted, spread to frost. Cut into squares.
