Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- whipped cream - 1/2 c
- can applesauce - 1 oz
- slices zwieback-style toast - 14 item
How to make danish apple pudding:
Combine finely crushed zwieback bars with melted butter, sugar and cinnamon. Spoon applesauce into 1-quart baking dish. Top with crumb mixture. Cook slowly on a low heat. Serve warm and spoon whipped cream over pudding.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Apple.
