  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • cube margarine - 1 item
  • cubes margarine - 2 item
  • Mix margarine, cocoa and water in a medium saucepan

How to make texas sheet cake:

Mix sugar, flour and salt together in a large bowl. Mix margarine, cocoa and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil and add immediately to dry ingredients. Add sour cream, eggs and soda; mix well. Pour into greased and floured 10 1/2 x 15 x 1/2-inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.Frosting:6 Tbsp. milk1 cube margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa1 c. chopped nuts1 lb. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla In same pan as previous cocoa mixture, mix together and boil until bubbly the milk, margarine and cocoa. Add nuts, powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat well and spread over cake as soon as it comes from the oven. Store cake in pan it is baked in.
