Ingredients/Components
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sugar - 2 c
- flour - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- Icing:1 stick margarine
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- chopped nuts - 1 c
How to make texas sheet cake:
Icing:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Melt margarine for cake in a medium size pan. Add water and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Add remaining cake ingredients. Stir slightly and pour into a greased and floured oblong cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.Icing: Make while cake is baking; melt margarine in a saucepan. Add cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil and add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Spread on cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. Let cool.
