Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- oil - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- brown sugar, firmly packed - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- whole wheat flour - 3/4 c
- apples, finely chopped - 1 c
- quick rolled oats
How to make apple oatmeal cookies:
Preheat oven to 375°. In a medium bowl, combine oats, both flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir to combine. Stir in raisins and apples. In a large bowl, combine egg, honey, oil and milk. Stir in dry ingredients. Mix to form a smooth batter. Drop batter onto ungreased baking sheet, using a rounded teaspoonful of batter for each cookie. Drop 2 inches apart. Dip fingers into water and press batter down to about 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
