Ingredients/Components
- sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- Bring to boil; remove from heat
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
How to make texas sheet cake:
Combine in saucepan first 3 ingredients. Bring to boil; remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour batter into jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Frosting:1 stick butter or margarine6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts1 lb. powdered sugar In saucepan, combine first 3 ingredients. Bring to boil; remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and spread on hot cake. Cool and cut in squares. Refrigerate.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
