- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 3/4 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Topping:1 stick margarine
How to make texas sheet cake:
Topping:1 stick margarine6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa1 c. pecans1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar Cake: Preheat oven to 350°. Mix sugar, flour and salt in a large bowl. In a saucepan, mix margarine, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Pour into a large cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Topping: Before cake cools, put margarine, milk and cocoa in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add powdered sugar, nuts and vanilla. Pour over cake.
