- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 6
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- pecans - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo or Crisco - 1 item
- In a saucepan, put the oleo or Crisco, cocoa and water
How to make texas chocolate cake:
Sift together the flour and sugar in a mixing bowl. In a saucepan, put the oleo or Crisco, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil. Pour over flour and sugar. Add the baking soda and vanilla. Mix and pour into greased 16 x 11-inch pan. Bake at 325°.Frosting:1 stick oleo4 to 6 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. pecans Into saucepan, put the oleo, cocoa and milk.
