Plum crisp
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- mace - 1/4 tsp
- butter, melted and cooled - 1/2 c
- fresh plums purple - 5 c
How to make plum crisp:
In a 2-quart casserole, put seeded and quartered plums. Blend the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and mace. Add to beaten egg and stir with fork until crumbly. Spoon over plums. Pour melted butter over top evenly. Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cobblers and crisps, Plums.
