Ingredients/Components
- ribs pork or beef - 3 lb
- salt - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- 2 1/2 can sauerkraut
- medium carrots, sliced - 2 item
- tomato juice
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- unpared chopped apple - 1 item
How to make tangy short ribs:
Season meat with salt and pepper. Combine all other ingredients and place in 5-quart Dutch oven. Place ribs, meaty side up, atop mixture. Bake, covered, for 3 hours at 350°. Baste meat with juice several times during the last hour of cooking.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Main dish, Beef.
