Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 3 c
  • garlic powder - 1 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • chili powder - 3 Tbsp
  • catsup - 2 c
  • sweet relish - 1/2 c
  • oregano - 3 tsp
  • tomato paste - 2 c
  • cumin - 2 tsp

How to make taco sauce:

Put all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan. Mix together, simmer about 45 minutes. Cool. Can use immediately or will keep for 2 weeks in refrigerator.
