  • brown sugar - 2 tsp
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • peanut oil - 3 5
  • dry sherry - 1 Tbsp
  • chicken breasts - 4 item
  • sesame oil - 1 Tbsp
  • sherry
  • light soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • dark soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • bunches chopped green onions - 2 item
  • chopped toasted peanuts - 1 item
  • dried red peppers - 6 item

How to make szechuan chicken:

Sauce:2 Tbsp. sherry2 Tbsp. dark soy sauce2 tsp. brown sugar1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1 Tbsp. water1 Tbsp. cornstarch Debone chicken breasts; cut into small pieces. Marinate them in the soy sauce, sherry and cornstarch. Remove the seeds from the red peppers; cut them into small pieces.

Sauce: Combine the ingredients and set aside.

Place sesame oil in hot frying pan or wok. Add red peppers; cook for approximately 15 seconds. Add the chicken (marinade and all); cook over high heat, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes. Add the sauce; mix and cook until it thickens. Remove from heat.

In small pan, heat peanut oil until bubbly. Place chopped onions and peanuts over chicken mixture. Pour bubbly oil over onions and toss. Serve immediately over rice.
