Ingredients/Components
- salt
- flour - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- medium onion, sliced thin - 1 item
- round steak 1/2 inch thick, tenderized
How to make swiss steak:
Cut meat in 6 pieces; then coat with mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Place in a 3-quart casserole. Cover with onions. Break up tomatoes with a fork and pour over top. Cover. Microwave at Low for 70 to 80 minutes, rearranging meat after 40 minutes.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
