  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • oil - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 3 c
  • box brown sugar - 1 lb
  • chocolate chips 6 oz
  • instant coffee heaping tsp - 1 c

How to make coffee squares:

Cream eggs and sugar. Add oil and coffee. Gradually add flour that has been sifted with soda and salt. Pour batter into ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan. If this size is not available use 1 (8-inch) square pan and 1 (9 x 13-inch) pan. Sprinkle chocolate
