- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter
- White Sauce - 1 item
- Swiss steak 1-inch thick
How to make swiss steak:
White Sauce:2 Tbsp. butter2 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. salt1 c. milk In pan, put butter and melt. Add flour, then milk and salt. Stir constantly until blended and as thick as you like it. Pour over Swiss steak. Have the required amount of steak (1-inch thick). Beat flour, salt and pepper into both sides. Sear on both sides in greased pan. Remove from fire. Add 1 1/2 cups tomatoes; cover and cook at 350° for 2 hours.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
