Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/3 c
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 item
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- carrots, sliced - 2 item
- round steak - 2 lb
How to make swiss steak:
Cut round steak into serving portions and press with flour. Brown meat on all sides in a little fat in heavy skillet or Dutch oven. Add onion, carrots and tomatoes. Cover and simmer gently about 1 1/4 hours or until meat is tender. Can be served with hot buttered noodles.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
