- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- hot water - 1 c
- pepper - 1 item
- cooked carrots - 4 c
How to make sweet-sour carrots:
Brown butter; blend in cornstarch and continue browning, stirring constantly. Add seasonings. Combine sugar, vinegar and water and add to the first mixture gradually. Cook slowly until thickened, stirring constantly. Pour over hot carrots.Recipe categories: Time to make, < 30 mins, Vegetables.
