Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • melted butter - 2 Tbsp
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • ginger - 1/4 tsp
  • cream - 1/4 c
  • allspice - 1/4 tsp
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
  • hot mashed sweet potatoes
  • brandy or sherry - 1/4 c

How to make sweet potato pie:

Combine all ingredients and turn into a pastry lined pie plate. Bake in hot oven at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 30 minutes longer or until pie is set and crust is browned.
