Sweet potato cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 2/3 c
• butter or margarine - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• cocoa - 4 Tbsp
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• nuts - 1 c
• flour all-purpose - 2 c
• cooked and mashed sweet potatoes - 1 c

How to make sweet potato cake:

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, beating after each addition. Mix all dry ingredients and add to creamed ingredients alternately with milk. Add potatoes, vanilla and nuts. Mix well and bake in greased and floured cake pans at 350° until done. Good with Buttermilk Icing or Cream Cheese Icing.
