Sweet and sour spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- diced green pepper - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- finely diced onion - 1/2 c
- lean spareribs - 3 lb
- cider or wine vinegar - 1/3 c
- cans tomato sauce small - 2 item
- can pineapple tidbits include juice - 1 item
How to make sweet and sour spareribs:
Cook spareribs on bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours (35 to 40 minutes on each side). Salt and pepper to taste. In a large bowl, mix the sauce together (the rest of the ingredients). Pour over the partially cooked spareribs. Continue cooking at 350°, uncovered, for another 2 hours. Serve with cooked rice.Recipe categories: Sweet sauces, Sauces, Savory sauces.
