Cranberry-applesauce
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/4 c
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- grated rind of 1 orange
- fresh or frozen cranberries - 2 c
- sliced tart apples - 2 c
How to make cranberry-applesauce:
Combine cranberries, apples, water and orange juice. Bring to boil; turn heat down and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until cranberries pop and apples are tender. Add honey and orange rind. Puree in electric blender. Serve warm or cold. Yield: about 3 cups.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
