Sweet and sour carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- mustard - 1 tsp
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- small green pepper, cut in rings - 1 item
- onion, sliced to make rings - 1 item
How to make sweet and sour carrots:
Slice and boil carrots in salted water until tender, cool and drain. In serving dish, alternate layers of carrots, pepper rings and onion rings. Beat remaining ingredients (tomato soup, salad oil, sugar, vinegar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce) well with beater until blended. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate.
