Sweet and sour baked beans
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cider vinegar - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- mustard - 1 tsp
- can garbanzo beans, drained - 1 item
- slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled - 8 item
- can red beans, drained - 1 item
- can dark red kidney beans, drained - 1 item
- can green lima beans, drained - 1 item
- large onions, cut into rings - 4 item
- can pork and beans not drained - 1 item
- cans large lima beans, drained - 2 item
How to make sweet and sour baked beans:
Place onions in skillet. Add sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar. Cook for 20 minutes, covered. Add onion mixture to combined beans. Add bacon. Pour into a 3-quart casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Crock-Pot: Keep warm. Do not prebake.
