Swedish meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- cold water - 3/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- catsup - 1 Tbsp
- sage - 1/2 tsp
- fine bread crumbs - 2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- small onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- sweet pepper relish - 2 Tbsp
- pork chop, ground - 1 item
How to make swedish meatballs:
Mix all ingredients together and beat until light. Knead with hands. Roll into small balls. In buttered skillet, brown well. Place in covered dish and bake at 400° for 40 minutes.Note: You can make ahead, brown and then freeze for later use.
