- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- crushed red pepper - 2 5
- liquid smoke - 3 5
- mustard seed - 3 5
- coarse black pepper - 3 5
- ground beef or deer - 5 lb
- Morton Tender Quick salt - 1/4 c
How to make summer sausage:
Mix in glass or plastic container; cover and put in refrigerator for 24 hours. Shape into 4 rolls and bake at 250° for 2 hours, then turn them over and bake for 2 more hours. Bake on a broiler pan.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Summer, Seasonal.
