  • salt
  • water - 3/4 c
  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
  • mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
  • Morton Tender Quick salt - 2 Tbsp

How to make summer sausage:

Mix all ingredients together like meat loaf. Roll in 2 or 3 rolls. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 24 hours. Place on wire rack. Poke holes in foil. This is very important so the grease can get out. Bake 1 hour at 350°. Can freeze.
