Ingredients/Components
- salt
- water - 3/4 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 2 lb
- liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
- mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
- Morton Tender Quick salt - 2 Tbsp
How to make summer sausage:
Mix all ingredients together like meat loaf. Roll in 2 or 3 rolls. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 24 hours. Place on wire rack. Poke holes in foil. This is very important so the grease can get out. Bake 1 hour at 350°. Can freeze.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Summer, Seasonal.
